This high output Radium 37W T5 LED tube incorporates the latest advancements in T5 LED technology. It is currently the best and only proper direct retrofit solution to replace 80W High Output HO T5 fluorescent tubes available in SA.
At 150lm/w, this 37W T5 HO LED tube emits an unbeatable 5550lm! This is the light output required to adequately replace traditional 80W HO T5 Fluorescent Lamps. There is no other T5 LED light on the market that provides this much light. If you need an energy efficient retrofit for 80W HO fluorescents, this is your best option by far! They can also fit in any T5 light fixture.
Designed and tested in Germany, this Radium lamp is made with quality components to provide excellent performance and longevity. The product comes with a 5-year warranty and rated useful life of 60,000 hours. A key factor in this high output LED tubes longevity and design is that it works with the existing electronic control gear (ECG). This allows the tube to maintain the small T5 diameter and achieve a very long life because the ECG carries the role of controlling the power to the lamps so the internal components of the LED tube are simplified. The body of this LED lamp is also made with a rigid thermoplastic which helps heat management and provides a good omnidirectional light. The aesthetic from the lamp is almost identical to the 80W T5 fluorescent lamp it replaces.
Another advantage of the LED T5 tubes working on the existing ECG is that the installation is extremely simple. All you need to do is take out the existing 80W T5 fluorescent lamp and replace it with the 37W T5 LED. That’s all!
